Arruda Family Pulling Team
History:
Peter started pulling in 1992, in the Hobby Division, when
given the opportunity to drive The Humble Bumble, owned by big Dave Raymond.
Pete pulled with Dave Raymond Jr., who drove The Rumor Has It,
owned by Billy Raymond. Farmer Joe then purchased The Humble Bumble
and The Rumor Has It. The Humble Bumble became Pete's
Dragon, which then became Twister. There was also John Deere
Green, One Too Many, Miss Mackenzie, Cornbinder, and Texas French Toast.
Then, Pete and Joe bought Thunder, which is a big tire
tractor, in the spring of 2000. Joe then built Boomer
which ran in the 2001 season. During the spring of 2005, Pete and Melissa
built Tractor X. This brings the total number to 7 hobby tractors
and 3 big tire tractors.
